Dr. Leon Rosenthal, a leading expert in sleep medicine, has published extensively, particularly on the assessment and treatment of insomnia and conditions that cause excessive daytime sleepiness. His practice does not bill insurance, which helps ensure greater access to his expertise. Dr. Rosenthal offers personalized care, taking the time to address the details of your sleep issues using an evidence-based, comprehensive approach to improve your sleep health. Consultations are conducted through a telemedicine/video platform. However, treatment with certain controlled medications may require periodic in-office visits. You may currently schedule a consultation if you can confirm that you are in the state of Texas at the time of the video visit (note that certain Dallas metropolitan areas are precluded due to a previous non-compete agreement). The initial visit includes a thorough consultation to gather information about your sleep difficulties, review any previous test results or treatments, establish (or confirm) a diagnosis, determine if further testing is needed, and develop a treatment plan along with a follow-up schedule. For patients seeking a second opinion, a one-time extended consultation may be arranged with Dr. Rosenthal, followed by a comprehensive write-up of recommendations for your treating physician. These recommendations will include a treatment plan as well as backup options in case the initial plan does not yield optimal results.
